🤝Group Culture (🚧under construction 🚧)

• Vision: We envision a world where all of our neighbors have access to the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to be empowered, purposeful, and caring members of our community.
• Mission: We come together to build accessible infrastructure and resources that facilitate the exchange of knowledge within SWMA, our beautiful neighborhoods, and the larger NYC community.
• Agreements
  • This is a people building group. We are not bosses or gatekeepers or experts. We came together to support knowledge sharing and political education in our neighborhood. Content of skill-share events are based on needs of the community. We act as facilitators and provide support - not as a stand alone decision making body for our communities needs.
  • No masters, no flakes. This group is open to anyone and we are all responsible for making things happen. We are compassionate and accountable to each other.
  • We all have something to give, and we all have something to take. This is MUTUAL aid after all.
  • We operate from a place of abundance, generosity, and longevity. We understand that building a better world takes time, and we trust that we have the time to do the work we need to do.
