Contents/Packaging
What are the contents?
What kind of quality? If there are quality concerns, what is the protocol to address them?
How is cultural specificity addressed?
How are things labeled for dietary restrictions? (we try to focus on sourcing vegan ingredients for ethical and food safety reasons as we lack access to refrigeration and distribute outdoors in all weather)
How is the food packaged? As grocery boxes or bags per family? Or single types of items all packed together? (our approach to pantry distribution is "take what you need," so we don't prepackage boxes and unpack anything pre-packed, generally find it more efficient to get boxes with each ingredient, i.e. box of carrots, box of potatoes)
How will the food packaging be "branded" and will there be any other materials included in the boxes such as pamphlets?
Background/Intentions
What is the background of Team AOC's involvement in food distribution? How does it fit into campaigning?
What is the intended longevity of the program?
Why did Team AOC choose to partner with ELMCOR? (we are trying to assess to what extent this initiative is aligned with our values)
Are mutual aid groups expected to report anything back? we do not collect info about people who use our pantries and lack the capacity to quantify exactly how many people we are serving
Does Team AOC have any expectation of acknowledgement or marketing on the part of SWMA?
Does Team AOC have any plans for their own marketing/campaign materials that would mention specific mutual aid groups that have accepted food through this program?
Are there any other expectations from mutual aid groups in exchange for accepting food?
