The 2nd Saturday of every month, we host a food & supply drive outside of Food Universe, 44-07 43rd Avenue, Sunnyside, from 9:30 AM to noon.

The point person will setup the table and bags in front of Food Universe.

Our drive supplies are stored at the 45th composters lot, 41-12 45th Street, Sunnyside. The gate code to the lot is in notion under passwords, if you do not have access please request in Slack or send a request by email.

There is a blue bin marked “SWMA” with the banner, bags, flyers, and other supplies for the drive.

If you notice supplies are low please blast out in Slack so we can refill.

There is also a small metal folding table beside their shed — looks like something from the 50s.

Most likely you will need to take two trips to bring everything to Food Universe.

45th Composters also collect for us on Sundays. You may notice some items in a clear bin marked for SWMA. Feel free to take these to help hold down the banner and to get these items back to St Jacobus.

Food Universe is aware of SWMA being out front. We have permission.

Enjoy meeting the neighbors. As you receive donations please check expiration dates and bag similar items together. This helps the team back at St Jacobus get it back on the shelves.

The Point Person’s shift ends at 11:15am so please make sure the others are aware of how to put the items back at 45th Composters. It is a fun shift so we all find we stay till noon.

There is a 12 noon shift of a driver to come collect the donations.
