Sunnyside & Woodside MA on Instagram: "Join @vitalmountain for a post pantry shift! We always need more drivers to assist with our weekly pantries."

When someone signs up for this shift, keep in mind someone from this group will need a key or arrange having a key to access the church in case no one is there.

As drivers return with tables and bags, take note of what was brought back to the church:

Please return any leftover items to their proper bin, shelf or refrigerator.

Fold up empty bags and place them in the large bin so they are easy to access for the sorting team.

Return tables to area by folding chairs

Do a full inventory of what's on hand. This doesn't have to be extremely exact, but a general count on cans, bulk items and miscellaneous.

Log this info on the inventory sheet, and post to the food_relief on slack. This will allow us to determine if we need to make a shopping trip for the following weeks pantry. If no one working this shift has access to slack, please contact the CAC for the day via text message and send them a photo of the filled out inventory sheet.

Break down empty boxes

Make sure that all the food that could potential be chewed on by mice is in a bin with a lid (basically anything that's not a can or jar)

Turn off all lights, front door upstairs and downstairs
